James Electrical is an electrical contractor based in the Bay of Plenty. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we handle it, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. If you get in touch by phone or email, we hold the contact details and correspondence you share with us.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, put together quotes and proposals, and deliver and document our work. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it lives
Form submissions are stored by our website platform, and correspondence sits in our email system. We keep your information only as long as we need it for the work and for reasonable record keeping.
Who we share it with
The services that run this website and our email, and suppliers where it is genuinely needed to deliver your job. Nothing more.
Analytics
This site collects basic, anonymised visit statistics so we can see how the site is used. Nothing in those statistics identifies you personally.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email info@jameselectrical.nz or call 027 245 0497 and we will sort it.
